The problem of intrahospital infections became very significant during last years.
Many factors  enhance the threat of infections spread. Among them are: growth of the number of medical institutions, new types of medical instruments, equipment, implementation of new treatments and diagnostics, including instrumental interventions, increase of the number of patients with natural and artificial weak immunity etc. World level of intrahospital infections  is 6-9% from the amount of hospitalized patients.
In the provision of dental care, microorganisms that are in the mouth cavity, saliva, blood, either directly or through contaminated ( it means settleable drops of aerosol that remain on the surface), objects, tools and materials able to develop nosocomial infections. The dominant pathogens of nosocomial infections are staphylococcus, collibacillus etc.
The source of infection may be patients who suffer from acute or chronic forms of purulo-septic diseases, viral hepatitis B, C, "delta", asymptomatic carriers of pathogenic microorganisms to patients and staff infected with HIV.
With the rapid spread of HIV among the population, each person who applies for medical assistance should be considered as a potential carrier of human immunodeficiency virus.
Taking into account the above mentioned factors in the clinic "DENT-ID" we strictly adhere to all the sanitary and hygiene rules of regulations, confirmed by the laws, regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
In our clinic, launched the so-called Anti-AIDS program, which provides for maximum use of disposable materials (sterile napkins, covers, cups, saliva ejectors, robes, hats, masks, gloves, shoe covers, etc.), handling disinfectant on all surfaces of furniture, equipment, before and after reception of each patient, disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments..
We pay special attention to the quality control of the held processing, using special tests which determines the presence of residues in the products of blood, oxidants, iron oxides and salts, acids and chemical tests (control of parameters of modes of steam and air sterilizers operation temperature, pressure, time of sterilization tenacity). Bacteriological control of sterilization quality is Systematically conducted by regional and city sanitary- epidemiological stations (SES). Before sterilization all the tools are packed in special packages for further sterilization and storage.
In our work we use only cutting edge means of disinfection and sterilization, which are certified both in Ukraine and in Europe, comply with all standards which are in force on the territory of our country (products of DURR, BODE).
